The new issue of the VDI 2052 replaces the edition of 2006. This standard provides guidance on air treatment and the dimensioning and design of ventilating and air-conditioning systems in commercial kitchens and associated rooms where food is processed and dispensed, kitchenware and equipment is cleaned and foodstuffs are stored.
In March 2017 GIF ActiveVent exhibited again at the INTERNORGA – a leading exhibition with over 96.000 national and international visitors from sectors a.o. like gastronomy, hotel, public catering, backery.
Together with the flooring producer BARIT and the kitchen equipment producer ELRO, GIF presented the Modular Ventilated Ceiling with different components. The functioning ventilated ceiling ensured a pure air at the booth.
GIF ActiveVent presented for the first time in Hamburg his energy saving system ecoAZUR, which inspired the specialized visitors. Furthermore, different LED illumination components have been revealed to the public.

GIF ActiveVent exhibited again after four years break at the fair ISH in Frankfurt, Germany. ISH, the world’s leading trade fair for the combination of water and energy, has once again demonstrated its significance for visitors and exhibitors. 2,482 exhibitors (Germany: 889, international: 1,593) from 61 countries.
A very high number of visitors payed a visit at the GIF booth, a large share of them from abroad, a great success for the company.
The new stand design was a magnet for visitors interested in the GIF ventilated ceiling, consultants, partners, friends and other exhibitors.
The visitors could look the sample ventilated ceiling from the bottom ans as an absolute News from above too. Everybody was satisfied to have a look behind the curtains, having a better idea of how the technology works.
Different new illumination technology was presented as well as the new energy saving system ecoAZUR.
